Quick question, you mention First strike in the items section, do you think it's still good? Or Conq/HOA is way better for Red, or DH for Blue.

honestly just conq for red and DH for blue. Forgot to remove FS mention tbh.

If you end up doing any hybrid build where you go whichever form you get first, id say just run DH whether its Rhaast or Shadow Assassin that you pick, itll be fine.

What do you recommend doing when it's kayn vs nocturne?

depends if youre red or blue, but mainly be very careful early game he wins any type of duel where you dont have some advantage, if you can break out of his fear and back in though you may wins some skirmishes.
Once you have form, either one, youll do much better.

Be very careful, never ult when he has shield on, its get used and go on CD.

you're 100% right, i had forgotten that they didn't let us build Serylda's and cleaver together anymore, my apologies! I updated any builds that had that to be proper s14 meta

A very interesting guide, but I didn’t understand much about "Whichever type of orb you have more than 50% of will determine which form you will get!" In most matches you don't hit only melee/ranger champions or what is that about? (sry for my bad engish)

Sorry just seeing this, it just means if you:
hit a melee champ once = one red orb
hit a ranged champ once = one blue orb
Whichever you have more of when you finish, you get that form

Nice guide. Maybe you should expand your threats and synerges list, explaining how to play different match-ups. And I don't understand when I should play which build, there are too many, not explained. But it's still a great job, compliments.

also bro if ur a viego one trick u should consider making a guide sometime even if its just a skeleton with the builds and runes u go.. this kayn guide is very unique in quality ii bet youd make a fire viego guide

I think red kayn with dark harvest and dusk is amazing, I just tested it :)

Will this be update for 12.23 since they buffed Shadow Assasin?

I'm a silver/gold player who is learning jungle this pre-season and really want Kayn in my pool or as my main/one trick. I'm not good at the role or with him yet, but i'm using your guide as a bible to hopefully improve. Thank you for all the hard work you have put into this already!

Exciting! Patch 12.23 Blue Kayn Buffs hehe! But to be honest the changes aren't going to affect the build or runes of Kayn much.

Mainly I'd say make sure you're using your Es as much as you can to get some HP back in fights, before and/or after your R etc.
He should feel a little smoother and easier to make work as Blue Kayn :)
