Hey there! Your guide rocks! Very clear and well explained!
I wonder however, back before they introduced mythic items, when the were giving AP per Mana, it was a very good item on Malzahar.
Now that they brought it back to it's former AP bomb, with the lifeline defensive passive as a bonus, do you think the should be considered on Malzahar?

Heyta! We don't need mana on Malzahar. Archangel steals one slot away and Delays Rylai and future items which is incredibly bad.

Hey, I really love this guide, I've been playing malzahar for a while and really enjoy the playstyle (climbed from silver 3 to gold 1 playing mostly malzahar and xerath).

Things I learned from this guide: options like resolve secondary, double defensive runes, ghost for matchups where we can set up good recalls without TP, also helpful gameplay tips in general.

Question about merc treads: you say to not take magical footwear when going for mercs. Does that mean you want to buy mercs ASAP after lost chapter?

Hello! Thank you for taking a deeper look :)

I recommend to not take Magical Footwear when Enemy Jungle and Mid are AP Champions so the ones that deal Magic Damage. In this situation, Mercury threads give you good value to counter them dmg and possibly their cc like Sejuani and Lissandra mid for example. Yes Lost Chapter into Mercs sounds optimal in does games.
