I tried the crit build against a squishy team but didn't like how just the faintest tickle of an ability just killed me, maybe it's just too high risk for me idk. I might just stick with bruiser briar even if they have all squishies. Or maybe I did something wrong? their team was cho morgana akshan, kaisa and seraphanie

It was the same for me, but i noticed after watching my replay that i need to pick better spots to gank of team fight. And to go in with with Q then E but make sure ypu are slamming them against a wall. Then i use W and in some cases my Q is back up. But usually there is enough crit damage that they are done mid W.

Nice crit build! I didnt get to use all items but started with Profane into Collector, LDR then the WildArrows. Just have to pick your spots to fight since it is more of a glass canon build. I lost but had a 18/6/4. 4 of the deaths i forgot i didnt have enough healing to jump in, lol!

Any update with new items and changes?

imo crit briar with phantom first is instant loss, i prefer collector first like in your video since 0 AD from phantom is instant loss in fights

Riot just HOTFIXED NERFED Phantom Dancer! My guide including PD was before these nerfs. Therefore I will be removing PD from the guide

yeah they nerfed the zeal part of Phantom Dancer

Why do you need leash in S14? And starting always bot lane just because of that is just ridiculous

how come you swapped to stridebreaker over titanic hydra? just curious is all

I guess it can be good only against champs that can kite briar easily, otherwise titanic should always be better

Doesn't it feel like that she needs buffs now. Like I get it rammus is worst matchup for her but there should be a way to kill him right like Katarina would die to every other champ but she would outscale him if you play her right even in extremes but with Briar there is no way I can kill rammus even though I have 3 kills lead in early game if he build thornail

I personally dont find the rammus matchup that bad. I do think you need wits end + bork + cleaver to make it playable tho. The reason i dont think its that bad is because rammaus can never really taunt you since you already self taunt. Ontop of the fact you can just push him back with Briar E after he does Q to cancel his ball roll

Just wondering why you've seemed to have shifted away from runes like over heal and revitalise in recent patches?

They nerfed a lot of her damage and a lot of her healing sources. This is what made overheal really strong but as of late i find it not nearly as useful. Triumph is a lot more necessary when in a team fight.

She doesn't heal as much she used to riot nerfed her healing. She was much better in season 13 now almost unplayable against champs like rammus and jax

actually she heals based on her health, so you need to start building HP items on her

so i think the changes for briar are a bit strong especially for bruiser briar since i just played her ADC, because someone on my team banned smolder and i went 11/4/20

yes! Riot only nerfed CRIT, lethality is still just as strong!

so the 14.2 adjustments are up and i think riot are actively trying to change her into a bruiser and shift her from lethality and crit, but doesn't matter much to me as im playing senna now

they made her viable to go bruiser with the new patch 14.2, but lethality is still strong. Crit is pretty much dead now. I would only go bruiser into comps like jax, zac, naut, at least 3 beefy frontliners.

LETHALITY BRIAR BUILD EXPLANATION:
I tried Voltaic Cyclosword and its a good item but its awkward to build.
Ghostblade is by far the best FIRST item now that Duskblade is removed and Eclipse is no longer a Lethality item. It provides higher DPS as Voltaic is only stronger for the single empowered Auto it gives.
If you take Voltaic CycloSword 2nd item it feels good, but then if you do this you wont have Collector until your 3rd item. If you do take collector 3rd item then it delays your Armor pen until 4th item. You pretty much always need a last whisper item 3rd because if you get 2 lethality items early, the enemy will almost always have more armor by your 3rd item which makes raw lethality not as good.
