when do you go pta and when lethal tempo?

PTA = SHORT BURST
LETHAL = LONGER FIGHTS

Personally I think Akali is a pretty easy matchup at least in the midlane without her W she's easy to kill.

The higher rank you climb, Akali's give less and less opportunities to fight when their W is down. If they play it perfect, Briar has few options! If you're getting fights when their W is down, you're just outplaying them

I have a question. why go GA instead of spear of shojin or death's dance? I feel overall those two items are better than GA. otherwise it is a good build for briar. i may actually use this build for ranked.

Guardian Angel is the BEST last item for Briar. You will always get hit by enemy team and giving yourself a second life is HUGE!
