Sorcerny seems far more useful with giving you extra ms and ad. And in which scenario do you go dark harvest like vs smolder / with panth, blitz? (I have read note)
Use the first potion to farm (use it early because when it expires it gives 60 gold)
Use the second potion to fight, you should hold onto this one and consume it as soon as a fight breaks out
And the third potion to use right away, obviously
Anyway, compared to Cash Back, the 2% move speed and 12 AD clearly can't compete, and as a bonus we get Triple Tonic which is nice
As for Dark Harvest, I don't recommend playing it right now
As for Hubris, it's also a matter of elo. Personally, I don't play it because I think Youmuu is better; the vast majority of high and very high elo players don't play Hubris and prefer Youmuu. But! Hubris can actually be stronger in low elo, since games are much more aggressive and there are way more kills per minute, which is a good environment to make the most of Hubris' passive. So feel free to do whatever you want. You can replace Youmuu with Hubris in build path 2 of my guide.
And for RFC, it's obviously always been a must-have for Jhin. I still recommend not building it too early; most players systematically build it before Dominik, but in reality, it really depends on the game. I invite you to read the note on build paths 1 and 2 of my guide!
However, it has a weakness during the lane phase because the Stormrazor components are weak. I will continue to look into the matter and the guide will be updated regularly.
I for one thought you were gonna ask about why always to switch to berserkers late game, since yeah late game the attack speed increase is gonna be nice as you already have 100% crit so all your aa grant you movement speed, but what if the enemy team have a lot of assasins or mages? so I usually don't have too many opportunities to aa? and also the zerks don't have the slow decrease, so they are worse against CC.
and for those reasons I usually stick with my swifties late game too, but I wonder what the author thinks about this
Advantages of Berserker's in late game:
- More AD
- More movement speed in combat
Disadvantages:
- Loss of protection against slows
In my experience, this trade is worth it, given how games are played at 40+ min. It is not necessarily optimal in 100% of games, but it is often very interesting.
In general, one of the two bot lane T1 towers falls a few minutes after your first item, which corresponds to the timing you mentioned. Once a T1 has fallen bot (ally or enemy), you should go mid and swap with your midlaner. From that point on, you will farm mid, while your top and mid laners figure it out and split the top and bot lanes as solo laners.
When you farm mid, stay safe, do not overextend without vision, and normally you shouldn't die too much.
Btw: it is common in low elo for midlaners to be unaware of this and refuse to swap; in that case, you can try to force it or do a bit of teaching...
from there it's just developing critical thinking and getting in the experience
1. Dark Cosmic Jhin
Absolutely gorgeous and iconic. By far the skin I’ve played the most. It’s just on another level.
2. High Noon Jhin
Amazing sound design, and honestly one of the most legendary and emblematic skins for the champion.
3. Soul Fight Jhin
The whole skin line looks incredible, and Jhin’s version is no exception.
4. Project Jhin
A classic. You really feel like a hyper-dangerous cyborg. With all the effects, it even feels like your crits hit harder.
5. SKT T1 Jhin
Super clean. It gives off a divine vibe, and it actually aged really well.
6. Empyrean Jhin
Really pretty, but in this style I prefer Soul Fighter. The sound design can feel a bit uncomfortable though.
7. Mythmaker Jhin
It’s well-made, and being a legendary skin is definitely a plus. But at that price, you’re better off buying one of Jhin’s top-tier skins higher on the list.
8. DWG Jhin
Honestly not terrible. I play it sometimes, but not very often. I’m pretty indifferent to it.
9. Blood Moon Jhin
I don’t know why, but I never really enjoy playing it, even though it is a nice-looking skin.
10. Shan Hai Scrolls Jhin
Really not a fan. I only play it to match with Nautilus players who use Shan Hai Scrolls. Feels like a weaker version of Mythmaker visually.
And for the €200 special skin Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin:
It’s objectively very beautiful, maybe even slightly better than the original, but I’m way too attached to Dark Cosmic. It’s just too iconic.
That’s just my opinion :)
I hope you were able to reach Mastery 10 on Jhin.
The ADC’s role is mainly to serve the team: you provide consistent damage in teamfights and on objectives, but you rarely make macro decisions. You have to play around what your team gives you.
Jhin is even more utility-focused: he deals less damage than most ADCs, so it’s perfectly normal to have lower damage numbers than the enemy ADC, your AP mid, or even your top laner.
Don’t try to end every game 17/0/9, that’s impossible.
Your goal should be to stay consistent and reliable. If you truly are, it means that in 100% of your games, your team always has a solid and mechanically sound ADC, which will naturally make you climb in elo over time, since the enemy ADC can’t be that consistent in 100% of games.
1.what do you think about dark harvest + sorcery runes? it gives alot of ad and late game potential
2.what do i do in a situation where my team fed very very much
3.is hubris instead of bt good in a stomp game?
4. hehe 4
1: Dark Harvest + Sorcery isn’t terrible, but it’s not optimal. It delays your powerspikes, it’s greedy, and less consistent than the standard build.
2: If your team fed a lot, you can do your best but the game is probably lost. You have to accept that some games just aren’t winnable. The goal in ranked is to be constantly better and especially less weak than the enemy ADC. ADC is a role where your impact heavily depends on what your team gives you. That’s true for every role, but especially for ADC. For example, maybe your support just roams, your jungler is absent, and your toplaner is winning hard. They’re having a good game, but not around you. In that situation, your job is to perform better than what an ADC of your elo would normally do. That’s how you climb. If you always do a little bit better or at least as good as what’s expected from an ADC at your elo, you’ll slowly but surely climb in ranked.
3: Technically Hubris isn’t a bad idea, but personally I wouldn’t go for it. BT just gives you so much comfort and teamfight power. The lifesteal is incredibly valuable, you can end a teamfight low HP, hit the red buff, and be back to full in 3 shots.
4: Ask me if anything isn’t clear especially in answer 2 haha
Or games where you fall behind and get outpaced, regardless of the enemy ADC?
When you fall behind and deal no damage anymore, the good news is Jhin is actually one of the best ADCs in that situation because he is a tempo and playmaker ADC, not a hard carry. He relies on control, poke, and zoning, not raw DPS.
So when you fall behind in the game, it is not over. Even at 0/11/0, Jhin can still be useful. Trust me, one good W can literally change the game.
A huge mistake to avoid: thinking 'I do not deal damage anymore so I should go solo farm.' No. You need to do the exact opposite. Accept that you are no longer the main damage source for your team and stay with them as much as possible to help with catches, using W of course but also R and E. If your team is doing well, you can help them win without having to carry.
Here is a golden tip: Even if you are 0/11/0, in the enemies’ minds you are still an ADC, which means a high-value target, especially in mid elos like silver to emerald. You can use that. I call it suicide bait haha. Basically, you try to make the enemy waste big cooldowns or resources to kill you. Do not sit too far back looking untouchable. You should look tempting to engage on but not for free either.
For example, there is a furious Pantheon running at you and you know he is going to one-shot you with his full combo. You stay just within his flash range and surprise, he flashes in and dumps everything on you. You die but your super-fed Lee Sin instantly deletes him because now Pantheon has nothing left. He chose the wrong target.
Most of the time there is nothing super mechanical to do. Just help with CC, do not die for free, but also do not hide too much. Always remember that your actual death value is lower than what the enemies perceive it to be. That can make a big difference.
Technically, the enemy ADC is your opponent, just like toplaners fight each other or supports fight each other. But it is not just them, it is true for every role in the game except ADCs. The others are constantly fighting their direct matchup the entire game. For ADCs, the duel with the enemy ADC basically ends after 20 minutes. After that, it is all about teamfights and ADCs do not directly fight each other anymore, or only very rarely.
Knowing that and knowing that Smolder is a very weak champion early game, it means he is not really a problem for you as Jhin. Actually, it is the opposite. You take advantage of his weak laning phase. On average Jhin is plus 400 gold at 15 minutes in this matchup. After that, sure, he becomes strong, but at that point it is no longer really your problem directly.
