Hi, Fatusa, could you tell me when this build with First strike is effective depending on eenmy matchup?

I played Zeri for while but with LT since I fould W build is quite unreliable. But I see people play with First strike instead of LT and how i got it foresees to max W first as well to make Zeri more bursty. But I have not got since LT is better for dueling if this build is designed for hard matchups when you forced to buy Static Shiv to stay actual or not?

And what do you think about Runaah now? Fh seems to be way better and as the second item matched dps of IE during the burst.

Hellllo, so basically first strike is good into squishy champs for example cait/lux jinx/milio and others that are perma poking u and u cant do anything to fight them. Basically into that lethal temp is kinda useless because u have no way of stacking it. Thats why i go first strike and play for wall angles trying to hit W it has insane damage because u go 3 cheap items for it, and its really effective lets u wave clear and keep safe until u get your powerspike. Anyways lethal tempo is still good and u should prefer that one into champs like ezrael smolder and so on the champions that are allowing you to hit them multiple times. Aswell about runans its not worth at all currently because of true dmg that you are getting from fiendhunter + fiendhutner is buffed even more next patch so it will be insane as 2nd item letting you to litteraly delete enemy adc in 3 hits. Kind regards!

Thank you for the answer. I just observed game history of somehigh-elo player using FS, but I couldn’t find a clear logic behind it. It seemed that the player used FS in some series mainly to test the build, rather than for specific matchups.

At least, I wouldn’t pick four pure damage items when playing against two champions with reliable and dangerous dive, like Vi + Malphite, as in one of his games. I think replacing C44 with Shieldbow would be acceptable in such cases.

Using four fully damage-oriented items is possible when everything is going well, right?

Hello, I play Zeri a lot and I don't understand why people build Runnan early. I think it's very situational and I prefer building infinity edge and anti armor item before to maximise my damage and solo carry. What do you think about it ?

So as u know zeri has problems early to farm and can be really problematic if she plays into draven/braum or something, so thats why runans is insane good for your wave clear and for you to be able to scale + runans is isane good with your ultimate and for you to to to hit multiple enemies with it in big team fights. SO basically runans is inssane good on zeri because of that wave clear (scaling potential) and teamfihts because it spreads damage on all enemies around. Infinity is good of course its zeri powerspike because of 40% crit dmg, but runans is priority for early scaling because infinity edge is too expensive.

Thank you ! It helps me understand the spirit. I may be a little biased because I play in the silver elo and good tempo and base timing already allows me to farm better than my opponents. I can also play aggressively when I have good synergy with my support, so I don't feel weak at the moment.

Maybe the Statikk shyv could be a good idea too, instead of Runnan, but it will delay the rate of critical strikes a little. I will work on it and keep enjoying Zeri as she deserves.

This question may seem silly, but do you have any tips or advice on how to always aim accurately with Zeri's Q?

I mean that is kinda hard to answer, its just skill, but sometimes hard because of their movement speed to hit especially blink/dodge champions, kalista etc. You should try to practice hitting qs on this website "https://loldodgegame.com/skillshot/" and you can try to predict etc it can help you.
