i dislike some of the items and runes you build, not that they're not good, im a aggressive soraka player myself, i dont see a need for stuff like "Celestial Opposition" since you can just build warmog, i would also say i dont see a reason for nimbus cloak either, and gathering storm is stronger than scorch overall, scorch is only good the first 8-10 minutes of the game, also font of life isn't as strong as it looks like because of its long cooldown, so i would go dream maker or zaz'zak, i would also recommend using the new mana support item, its such a broken item, it heal so much more than people expect, i once had a 34 min game where it had done around 10k healing while it does like 15 heal a tick, for nimbus cloak go either axiom arcanist or manaflow band, trancendance instead of celerity and gathering storm over scorch, i would also personnally go double adaptive force and scaling hp istead of AH, MS and tenacity, and i also mainly go ignite cuz i can do enough damage, while i do between 400-700 HP heals with my W and up to 900-1200 HP heal with my ult.

My general build is:

1. Dream maker
2. Diadem of songs
3. Redemption
4. Warmog
5. Moonstone
6. either dawncore or AH boots

[*] where i also max Q first mainly, depending on lane else i will max W
i have a good amount of knowledge of soraka, since i have been a soraka main for who knows how long now, coached multiple people to get into plat+ from lower ranks, even tho my own peak is only gold my overall knowledge with soraka is very good

I understand your point of view.. your style of play is certainly not wrong.. but I have to make some premises.. (I updated the guide for the raffle xD) it is not actually UPDATED for the new season because I am still studying the new items.. but I will certainly update it as soon as possible for the new contest too

As for Celestial... it's useful against bursting comps.. for several seasons now, burst has become oppressive.. so much so that even Pyke players build Celestial.. so having an enchanter that builds tank isn't bad.. but the healing item isn't bad either (the warmog is good only in aram) .. Scorch is ok.. yes, it's early game.. but gathering storm is only strong in games where there are 40-45-50 minutes of game.. now in the new season there are no longer very long games.. all have sped up to around 25-30 minutes due to the disappearance of Athakan

the runes and the style of play of the guide however was taken inspiration from a guy who had obtained rank 1 soraka with this set up xd from iron to Grand master in 150 games with 90% win ratio in total.. the runes on this point are right for my style of play.. obviously they are not "mandatory" you can decide to build as you prefer

so this xd as soon as I can I'll update it and fix the items XD don't worry ahahaha

i understand, it would be awesome if you going forward, update the whole thing before updating just for the season

I really wish I could go lane bully Soraka in Vietnam server more often. 80 to 90% of my games I have to deal with engager supports. Typical engagers like Bliztcrank, Nautilus and Leona, sometimes Pyke, Lux or Mel. I easily subvert them and secured ideal laning win for late game victory. But these three only counts a minor portion while most of the games I have to deal what I sort myself as "killer supports". They are in essence engagers but they are champs from other roles coming down to support. Pantheon and Sylas are the most common, sometimes Sett, Camille or even Leblanc and Syndra. Imagine just lv2 then a Pantheon flash red W and Lucian blitzt your ADC while you helplessly heal is legit nightmare. They often go with early snowballers like Caitlyn, Jhin, Lucian. I often have to hug and orbit around my ADC for vision to let them safely coin up while there is so much kill pressure and no one does warding, even the jungler. Scratching through the Gold rank plateau really is a challenge

Is it strange for me when I am a pure Soraka-picker when in support role, I always struggle against Lux and Mel or Pantheon/Sylas duo with Jhin or Lucian. But the same ADCs but with enchanters like Sona, Lulu, even high skill champs like Seraphine and Bard, I easily outpoke, out sustain, outcountrol the area and press their bot duo so hard that their junglers have to camp us?

if the enemy jungler survives on you.. your jungler should counter gank you and protect you.. or take advantage elsewhere.. otherwise it's jungle gap.. it's not a given that if you play perfectly then you win.. it's still a team game.. if the team is not there.. there's little you can do.. my advice is to make the best decisions possible.. then if you make a mistake do some self-review of your games to understand which parts of the game you did wrong and you can learn from there
