Honestly, the champion grind is rough if you're starting fresh. The fastest way without dumping tons of cash is just stacking leveling capsules, turning duplicate shards into essence, and buying the cheaper 450/1350 BE champs first to build a ranked pool
Yeah makes sense, I already grabbed a few cheap ones like Annie and Garen. Main reason I came back was to try out the newer top laners though, especially Yone and K Sante. Problem is I have zero idea how their limits work in the current patch and don't want to waste 6300 BE if they are complete trash right now. Is yone still viable blind pick?
Yone is alright as a blind pick, but his laning is way harsher now. If you get counterpicked by Jax or Renekton, you're going to suffer. He’s currently ranked in S-tier over on the Skycoach tier list, but honestly, K'Sante down in B-tier feels like a much safer pick if you want something forgiving that doesn't rely as much on flawless mechanics.
Yeah, I ve heard K'Sante is super solid, but his kit looks pretty complex compared to old-school top laners. Since I’m still rebuilding my mechanics, I’ll probably grab Garen or Jax first to get used to the lane flow again, then hoard BE for K Sante. How heavily does the current top lane meta rely on teleport vs ignite for early trades?

What's the current meta for getting champions and cosmetics efficiently without blowing a hole in my wallet? Are passes worth it, or are there reliable ways to get RP / free codes and capsules through events? Just trying to figure out the best way to catch up without spending a fortune.
