Do you invade most of the time or only sometimes? Do you keep invading over the game or just full clear for tempo? I played S15 Trundle till D2 on Top, im a Jungle Main however master S16. I play mostly full clear Junglers are you more proactive with Trundle or active?

Being adaptable while playing Trundle Jungle is probably the hardest and most challenging part about him.

If you try to full clear every game and simply play for tempo, you can easily end up falling behind if your lanes are getting destroyed. On the other hand, if you try to constantly be active and make plays around the map, Trundle doesn't exactly have the best ganking kit, especially against champions with a lot of mobility.

Even invading can be tricky. Some of the traditional invade windows, like starting at Raptors, aren't always ideal for Trundle because his AoE clear is relatively slow, so you can lose a lot of tempo trying to force an invade that isn't actually there.

That's why I think you have to adapt game by game.

Enemy team has little to no mobility? Definitely worth considering playing more proactively and looking for ganks.

Enemy jungler is also a melee fighter? Invading becomes much more attractive.

Both junglers are scaling and there aren't many good opportunities to make plays? Just full clear and maintain your tempo.

Counter-ganking is also something Trundle can be really good at, depending on the matchup and situation.

So yeah, I wouldn't say I'm strictly a "full-clear" or "perma-active" Trundle player. I try to read the game and decide what makes the most sense for that specific match.

I hope you understand what I mean. You really need to play a lot of different matchups and experience different types of games to become as effective as possible with Trundle Jungle. His strength isn't having one perfect game plan — it's being able to recognize which game plan actually works in the game you're currently playing.
