Hey Star Zall! Thanks for the great guide! Two quick questions:

1. What champion would you recommend as a secondary mid pick to complement Veigar? Ideally someone who performs well against Veigar's hardest counters (Yasuo, Yone, Fizz, Zed, etc.) and offers a different playstyle when Veigar is banned or picked.

2. If I'm building Seraph's Embrace anyway, why not start with Tear of the Goddess? Wouldn't the extra mana and earlier stacking help with farming and wave management?

Hey, honestly some of the builds are situational, some u can always go them regardless, I sometimes swap between them,. For example, you have senna, into pyke support, so you want some defensive tools, Guardian rune page, helps regarding that. You play into champions that dont have high range necessarily, like Nilah, Kaisa, , First Strike rune page, can be decent. Aery is just decent to poke with, and scale with it at the same time. Honestly though, veigar APC is just supp jg reliant, idk how many times I said this. You gotta hope, ur team plays around you, cause if your support roams, u cant do much playing 1v2...

Hello, playing CDR veigar build, mostly APC. Which between Horizon Focus / Cosmic Drive is a better choice for 2nd item? (after getting seraph and cdr boots first)? Is Horizon's Focus effect really good enough to choose it over Cosmic Drive who has basically the same stats but with the extra mvm speed and health?

Hello, both are ok, but personally I like going Cosmic Drive 2nd item, when i'm matching it with Resolve runes, like Overgrowth and Conditioning to feel even more tanky with it.
While Horizon Focus when i go Glass Cannon build, with runes like First Strike or Electrocute.

With the recent buff to electrocute do you think that there might be a meta elec build egain?

Yeah for sure electrocute is more viable on Veigar now, especially for early to mid game, was testing it even on support, and it's pretty good, compared to Aery, will try it out more though.

Btw you know that's funny? The reason why you need the extra HP for Warmog's proc (1999 hp lmao) is because the stacks from RoA are not accounted as item hp for Warmog's passive which I find hilarious cuz the missing hp would fulfill the requirement.

Yeah, I was really tilted when the HP requirement was not 1900 HP or another number, but 1999 HP, it felt like Riot was laughing at me for trying stuff.

I'm curious about the reasoning of BFT instead of Seraphs, is it purely because it's a faster spike than seraphs even if its passive is miles weaker? I understand the required tempo in the matchups you recommend it but I am wondering if you could get away with seraphs in those.

Hello, you can go tear into Seraphs if you want to, it's just that it usually delays your spikes like Lost Chapter, where you need all the damage you can get into good players that play assassins like Akali/Zed, then again, this is from my experience, so try what suits you the most.

hi i am a veigar botlane otp and i just wanetd to thank u for making a comprehensive guide because all the high elo otp guides are outdated by multiple seasons in terms of items.

Do u also plan on adding some tips on botlane matchups as well it would be greatly appreciated.
