Sheen doesn't stack with crit, which is why it does nothing for Trynd.
Say for example I'm Ashe and I got a Sheen (which is a ****ing ******ed idea, by the way):
I volley to proc sheen, my base attack is 80
I auto-attack after proc, I'll do 160 damage.
It doubles damage on the next hit, so it also works on turrets. The reason why you're probably not doing as much damage as you like is because you have Crit damage. Naturally, Trynd is a crit champion so you'd be seeing less damage if you were to crit with a Infinity Edge than an auto-attack proc from a sheen.

I expected this to double base damage, doubling critical, which would be nice. However it seems to do nothing.
Anyone know if this was intended, perhaps it is a glitch? Maybe I don't understand the mechanic properly. Anyone know?
