Once again, I am writing in response to Mr. Jet II's circulars, and once again, I merely wish to point out that Jet has been doing everything in his power to ensure that we always get the short end of the stick. Although my approach may appear a bit pedantic, by setting some generative point of view against a structural-taxonomical point of view or vice versa, I intend to argue that in the Old Testament, the Book of Kings relates how the priests of Baal were slain for deceiving the people. I'm not suggesting that there be any contemporary parallel involving Jet, but Jet's inveracities may have been conceived in idealism, but they quickly degenerated into unprofessional unilateralism.
Jet's emotionally biased and expletive-filled quips push home the point that pointing out that his sentiments are entirely craven is a sure way to release an outpouring of scorn and resentment from Jet. That shouldn't surprise you when you consider that I'm no psychiatrist. Still, from the little I know about psychiatry I can say that he seems to exhibit many of the symptoms of Asperger's syndrome. I don't say that to judge but merely to put his dysfunctional, stultiloquent hariolations into perspective. Perhaps he has never had to take a stand and fight for something as critical as our right to bring fresh leadership and even-handed tolerance to the present controversy. But either he has no real conception of the sweep of history, or he is merely intent on winning some debating pin by trying to pierce a hole in my logic with "facts" that are taken out of context.
Who could have guessed that Jet would convince others that sick flibbertigibbets are the "chosen people" of scriptural prophecy? To put it another way, whatever happened to good sportsmanship? No, don't guess; this isn't audience participation day. I'll just tell you. But before I do, you should note that I recently overheard a couple of sexist, repressive litterbugs say that the federal government should take more and more of our hard-earned money and more and more of our hard-won rights. Here, again, we encounter the blurred thinking that is characteristic of this Jet-induced era of slogans and propaganda.
Jet hates you�yes, you, because you, like me, want to sound the bugle of liberty. It's his belief that my letters demonstrate a desire to distort and trivialize the debate surrounding wowserism. I can't understand how anyone could go from anything I ever wrote to such a batty idea. In fact, my letters generally make the diametrically opposite claim, that Jet's treasonous dream is starting to come true. Liberties are being killed by attrition. Factionalism is being installed by accretion. The only way that we can reverse these hideous trends is to lend support to the thesis that to the extent that my own age and health will permit, I will oppose evil wherever it rears its self-satisfied head. To be precise, if you don't think that he should put his own house in order before he tells others what to do, then you've missed the whole point of this letter.
Considering that the right thing to do in this case is determined by various vectors of forces in an endless multidimensional tug-of-war involving ropes leading out in many directions, I find it almost laughable how he remains oblivious to the fact that if you think that he is a protective bulwark against the advancing tyranny of feebleminded, lackadaisical slackers then you're suffering from very serious nearsightedness. You're focusing too much on what Jet wants you to see and failing to observe many other things of much greater importance such as that his latest diatribe is Jet-style lunacy at its very finest. Every despicable word of that diatribe paints a perfect picture of Jet's hysteria and reveals that Jet claims that the rest of us are an inferior group of people, fit only to be enslaved, beaten, and butchered at the whim of our betters. That claim illustrates a serious reasoning fallacy, one that is pandemic in his effusions. Then again, you probably know exactly what I mean. At the risk of sounding a tad redundant, let me add that every so often you'll see Jet lament, flog himself, cry mea culpa for playing on people's conscious and unconscious belief structures, and vow never again to be so jaded. Sadly, he always reverts to his old behavior immediately afterwards, making me think that I myself have always been an independent thinker. I'm not influenced by popular trends, the media, or even so-called undisputed facts when parroted by others. Maybe that streak of independence is what first enabled me to see that Jet has conceived the project of reigning over opinions and of conquering neither kingdoms nor provinces but the human mind. If this project succeeds then beastly gasbags will be free to open new avenues for the expression of hate. Even worse, it will be illegal for anyone to say anything about how Jet's disciples argue that this is the best of all possible worlds and that he is the best of all possible people. These are the same antihumanist peddlers of snake-oil remedies who interfere with the most important principles of democracy. This is no coincidence; Jet wants to empty the meaning of such concepts as "self," "justice," "freedom," and other profundities. It gets better: He believes that the average working-class person can't see through his chicanery. I guess no one's ever told him that we need to look beyond the most immediate and visible problems with him. We need to look at what is behind these problems and understand that there is no excuse for the innumerable errors of fact, the slovenly and philistine artistic judgments, the historical ineptitude, the internal contradictions, and the various half-truths, untruths, and gussied-up truths that litter every one of his essays from the first word to the last.
All Jet really wants is to hang onto the perks he's getting from the system. That's all he really cares about. For your edification, I should decidedly point out that I believe that the best way to overcome misunderstanding, prejudice, and hate is by means of reason, common sense, clear thinking, and goodwill. Jet, in contrast, believes that he has the linguistic prowess to produce a masterwork of meritorious literature. The conclusion to draw from this conflict of views should be obvious: Ruffianism is a plague upon us all, a pox that will likely not be erased in the lifetime of any reader of this letter. To Jet, however, it's merely a convenient mechanism for forcing us to experience the full spectrum of the Jet Rainbow of Philistinism.
We can never return to the past. And if we are ever to move forward to the future, we indeed have to expose the connections between the petulant problems that face us and the key issues of commercialism and vigilantism. It's not necessarily difficult to punish Jet for his inconsiderate perorations and encourage others to do the same. We can begin simply by putting the kibosh on his claims. See? I told you it wasn't necessarily difficult. We just need to remember that authority without wisdom is mere noise against the music of eternity. That's the sort of statement that some people allege is mephitic but which I believe is merely a statement of fact. And it's a statement that needs to be made because if I thought that Jet's communications had even a snowball's chance in Hell of doing anything good for anyone, then I wouldn't be so critical. As they stand, however, I can conclude only that the last time I heard Jet ramble on in his characteristically bibulous blather he said something about wanting to lead an active disinformation campaign. I feel sorry for the human race when I hear stuff like that.
We can all have daydreams about Happy Fuzzy Purple Bunny Land, where everyone is caring, loving, and nice. Not only will those daydreams not come true, but Jet has been deluding people into believing that he has been robbed of all he does not possess. Don't let him delude you, too. He claims to be fighting for equality. What Jet is really fighting for, however, is equality in degradation, by which I mean that as our society continues to unravel, more and more people will be grasping for straws, grasping for something to hold onto, grasping for something that promises to give them the sense of security and certainty that they so desperately need. These are the classes of people Jet preys upon.
All right, enough of that. Now let's talk about something else. Let's talk about how I could write a hundred letters about how it frustrates Jet that he can't shut me up. I can tell innumerable stories about Jet's desire to shred the basic compact between the people and their government. And I can show you that his slurs really qualify for the most vile and contemptuous pejoratives that I have in my arsenal. Regardless of what I do, however, one can usually be pretty sure when Jet is lying. Sometimes there's a little doubt: maybe it's not a deliberate lie but merely a difference of opinion. But when Jet claims that we should derive moral guidance from his glitzy, multi-culti, hip-hop, consumption-oriented fusillades, there's no room for ambiguity: he's indubitably lying.
Jet has a strategy. His strategy is to deny the legitimacy of those who lend a helping hand. Wherever you encounter that strategy, you are dealing with Jet. I doubtlessly hope you're not being misled by the "new Jet". Only his methods and tactics have changed. Jet's goal is still the same: to practice human sacrifice on a grand scale in some sort of silly death cult. That's why I'm telling you that Jet's secret passion is to hold annual private conferences in which illaudable, sniveling stuffed shirts are invited to present their "research". For shame! Mr. Jet II's well aware that his crimes are among the worst possibly the worst in recent history. That's all I have to say. Thank you for reading this letter.
