Very good build and descriptions :) Only thing that needs to be changed is spirts visage, maybe a Wit's end for more MR and some offense?

This is outdated a lot.
Don't start with the Cloth Armor nowadays you're too slow with it. Start with Long Sword.
You might want to add in Wit's End as it is a godlike item for Warwick.
And the Madred's Bloodrazor as first item after boots - meh really? Hopefully you'll be pusnished for buying it so early. You're way too squishy with it early game.

I'll tell you what, even though i haven’t testing this build out i starting building WW to a similar build and i prefer it to straight DPS. For starters i ONLY play RANKED games, and most DPS champs can get away with being straight DPS in normal games but nor ranked. In ranked you need to have survivability. And i mainly jungle with Udyr and WW and i prefer building both of them tanks with madreds, i don't get a huge amount of kills averaging 7-12 a game, however i hardly die and the team benefits much more. People say this build needs more damage because they play normal games with no teamwork and they can 1v1 all day till they're fed. In ranked versing pre made teams straight DPS melee is a bad idea. Good build, although i like to have sunfire cape :)

I find this build quick lacking seeing how I cannot tower dive confidently with this build in it's early stages. Madreds is does not do enough dmg on it's own. Instead, I suggest sunfire to be a core item given the sheer amount of armor it offers and also some aoe dps. I feel Banshee's is unecessary since you ARE tankwick and you can handle a disable while you close in to do your ulti. Another feeling about this build is that there is little incentive for enemies to focus you.

but hell, solo top ap-tank ww is so much fun to play :D but in ranks it just cant work when they put a stupid rumble/jarvan/etc top with mr rune page who rapes ur ***... so yea ur build is best in ranks, and in normals its fun to rape with ap ww^^

can you please update this? i can tell its old because you have the "he can solo the dragon since level 4" thing on here

aggree with above... although i do see the benefits of going full tanky, i also see the many cons. The main con being that u won't get focused in higher ranked play. Wit's end gives u that great mr, i usually rush wits end, cuz it makes ma ulti hurt so bad and furtherer ensures the kill... Furthermore does it stack very nicely with madreds ;) + quickly upgrading the madreds slows your jungle capabilities and dragon control significantly which is why the full madreds thingy is genuinely a bad item to rush imo.
