This got me started playing Kayle. While not the best build IMO it still does the trick!
Hybrid Kayle Ftw!
The only difference I make is the skill order.
You don't want to focus Righteous fury or Reckoning to max first. This provides poor utility and survivability early game. You want to put a decent amount of points into Righteous Fury, but also some into utility.
This is my usual skill order:
E>W>Q>E>E>R | W>Q>>E>Q>R | E>Q>W>Q>R | W>W
Righteous Fury is your main damage output, in combination with your Reckoning.
It only cost 45 mana at all levels. It gives you great range and damage. It lasts 10 seconds. Three points early game is enough, especially to get the harass off you.
Early game you only want to start using abilities to counter-harass. By that I mean only when they start to force you out of lane, you want to damage them. Kite with Kayle is important. More than likely you will out-range them. Use that to your advantage.
By level 8 or so, you should have a good start on your core build toward Rageblade. Now you want to focus on sustain and damage. Getting a second point in Divine Blessing at level 7 will help sustain and farm. Getting your second and third point in Reckoning will boost your dps, and a fourth point in Righteous Fury for raw damage output.
