If you want AD you should get AD quints. They are better. There's nothing that can even suggest otherwise.
3 AD quints+3AD marks+6ArP marks = 9.6AD and 10ArP. 1.05AD more with the same ArP.

We were talking about 2 scenarioes: full AD Quints & Full ArP Marks OR full ArP Quints / Full AD Marks.
Between these two, it is better with AD Marks beneficial-wise.
Naturally when you add some of the Marks on top of the Quints, obviously it can become another story. And actually, I rather like that setup; 6 ArP Marks and 3 AD marks and quints.
That is a good idea, and is prob. the most beneficial. But that doesn't change that you went to take in a 3rd solution in order to win the discussion :S
But yeah, a good combination, I must agree.

Indeed. There really isn't anything stopping you from combining different kinds of runes, even if it does look less organized.

Actually I just did the math, and indeed it is better to get AD Quints and ArP Marks. However, that is only based on the fact that there is 2 ArP marks per quint, while there is 2,3 ad marks per quint. That means that statistically, it would be smarter to get AD Quints, although..
That's only 2,25 * 3 = 6,75 extra AD. That isn't really.. Sufficient IME. On the other hand, 0,95 * 9 = 8,55, does at least that slight bit more, while you can still have 10 ArP just by the Quints.
While you could also get AD on both Marks and Quints, that would leave you with no ArP, which is not sufficient either ofc.
So yeah, I'm FOR AD Marks and ArP Quints, really. Mathematically speaking.
