I think it could partially work. At least around untill mid game, when they start spotting that you're a tank. ;o
After that, I bet they have figured it out. Also, if going tank like that, you are also forced to avoid items like Sunfire and Banshee's, and they can thus easily see which is the real you, and they'll spot it when you send your clone in from the side :P

Also if you are a good shaco you always have a retreat route ready with a box.
he is an assasin not a tank. You go in try to kill in a burst and if you dont kill you run away. Simple as that. Dont make Rammus out of Shaco... it is not nessesary if you want a tank pick one... I bet Shen or Rammus will deal more damage in tank build that you can diliver by building tanko.
