To start off, I would consider myself as a very excellent Corki player. I miss almost no cs at all, and I'm still extremely helpful to my team. I've carried several games in ranked already, and my main question is this.

How does one stop a Corki? People have tried bringing 3 man ganks, but it never works for them. Valkarie, Ghost and Flash are just too strong. Corki pushes and harrasses well. How do you stop that in a lane? His damage is insane, and he has some great escape mechanisms. What do? I'm just primarily asking how you'd shut me down. I'm getting more serious with LoL after we've won that tournament and I feel like my Corki is just a little under players like Chauster.

gank him while ghost/flash is used up imo.

no jk but honestly idk how i would deal with a good corki. the only corkis i've ever seen were the free week, then a few after they released urfrider corki.

I'm a proud Urfrider! :D

anyways, I honestly don't know how I would counter MYSELF. I play aggressively without pushing the lane too much. I literally get all my creep kills and I can basically escape anything without having to pop Ghost or Flash. I also deal tons of dmg with Phosphorus Bomb and Gatling Gun. Pokes well, farms well, escapes well, deals a lot of dmg, how do you stop this 'perfect' champion?

Tbh, he's easily FOTM if you look at him at all stages of the game. Stuns honestly can't stop a corki since valkarie can be used before the stun technically hits you. All I can see that can remotely shut him down is a quick supression while no one is looking. And if you can't kill him then, he's getting away after that duration for sure.

I just feel like if you get a good Corki, it's gg

Exhaust, stun, thornmail?
Corki is quite vurneable to CC, any kind. I am terrible/good corki player (dependable when i play him). Fed corki is as deadly as fed ashe.
Both can easily farm minions so the best way to stop corki is to harras him early game so he doesnt get the gold advantage. Hard but doable.

He lacks any kind of CC so this is his weakest point.

Yeah, Exhaust and cc can get it, but you usually just Valk away to safety. When it comes to exhaust, it's oh ****! Valk away, come back. Meh.

Suppression. <3 Urgot :)
A good Urgot can't stop Corki completely from farming, but he can be a royal pain in the *** for him in teamfights.

Three-man ganks can also be very effective if at least 2 have stuns. Alistar is beastly for those.

Corki too strong, I totally agree. He is head and shoulders above the other range carries especially in solo q. All I play is anti-carries and corki is the hardest one to deal with. I usually will not even pick slow melee champions like Olaf that lack hard cc because he will kite me so easily xD.

I will usually play Akali or Poppy as they are quick enough to shut him down.

Best option is repeated ganks by roamer or counter-pick him with a stronger laner like leblanc that can shut him down.

I hate that little mfer xD.

I probably main Corki now and I would have to agree with this. The main reason Corki is not FotM is that he is hard to play and is 6300. Good corkis are pretty damn hard to beat and they can carry their team very well. Playing him the only time I die pretty much is if I am wreckless and use Valk offensively instead of defensively.

I find that the best way to stop him is probably to stop him early, because he does need his farm to be effective. That means CC the **** out of him before he gets his Banshee's Veil. Instagib champions like Kassadin or LeBlanc are usually the best way to shut him down.

PS.. Nazi Corki all the way bro... Get on my level.
