I have a question that I haven't seen in the guide and I'm going crazy because noone can give me a satisfactory answer:

How do I get out of ELO hell? Might sound stupid but if 1 person in your team fails, doesn't matter what you do so right now I mainly have a 50% win ratio half the times I get the feeder, half the times the enemy team gets it. I'm around 150 ranked games and I have had 3 real games where the skill makes the difference and everyone had fun in it (and yes, I won all those 3). If someone knows how to (or can somehow) help me please tell me. I thought that I could find it in the guide but I couldn't, that's why I ask : /

Way too much in this is about your personal opinion and not how it works in general. Your Item builds, the champions and so on. You are also missing a lot of stuff, the only counter build you are mentioning is high hp vs madreds or kog / malz, there are A LOT more ways to counter a team. In General there is a lot more missing in your guide. This Guide could be called "How to pick teams in LoL" and not how to play solo ranked, there is not much that makes this a ranked guide..

Hi Madmack. Getting Archaic Knowledge looks kinda mandatory on an AP carry, but it's less effective if you're playing as Fiddlesticks (passive magic pen/magic resistance reduction) and when there's an Amumu on your team (idem).
Also, in general, the masteries you need to pick before being able to unlock Archaic Knowledge don't seem worth it. Maybe defensive masteries or more utility masteries are a better pick? They help a lot in early game.

A fantastic build i just played my first three games with him 7-2-10 8-1-4 16-1-2. I was skipping majeis because i didnt expect to do as well seeing it was my first couple games but i will definently include it! Again fantastic build

It may not be the one you wanted, but it's still worth mentioning IMO.

As just a level 20 player, I have learned much from this. I agree that Jebus might be right (although I find his name highly offensively combining the equivalent of the word "f*ck" in my language and "Jesus", probably not on purpose), this guide is less professional than it could be, but it helped me more than a guide talking about banning would. So a +1 for me, and add a section for pros to make pros happy.

awesome guide did just try karthus out and got a 17/7/14 score and lost the game but the other team also had a yi with 28 kills ;)
