I think you should consider getting Rylai's Crystal Scepter or Frozen Maller - or maybe both - to keep enemies in your range, so you can easily stack your ultimate up. About Trinity Force, it is just a generally bad item on Jax. Madred's BLoodrazor is good, but Wit's End is not as good. Actually, having two attack speed items is not so good. Lich Bane easily outdamages Trinity Force, just saying.
