so i was just looking around for some stuff and i found this thread, which gave detail on the 40 release champions. however this was posted back when there was only 31 champions. anyway, the original nasus was really different from what he is now so i felt like sharing it. nasus was also originally called nasus the soul eater, i think.
Nasus's ability are based on consuming souls. Nasus passively gathers a soul once every seven seconds. Additionally, Nasus gains 2.5 Health Regen per 5 for each active Soul.
March of the Damned (note: probably ulti) Costs X Souls - Nasus releases all of his souls to send forth a torrent of x (# of souls released) Damned Spirits at his target, dealing 65 Magic Damage each (can be outrun).
Siphoning Strike Gain (note: might have been a typo here, idk.) 1 Soul - Nasus strikes his his foe, dealing + base damage. This increases future Siphoning Strike damage by 2 if he slays his target.
Spirit Fire Costs 1 Soul - Creates a delayed spirit flame at Nasus's cursor position. After 0.5 seconds, creates a flame which deals Magic Damage over 3 seconds.
Wither Costs 2 Souls - Nasus ages his target, slowing their movement and attack speed by % and accelerating it by 10% each second for 6 seconds.
personally i would like to see a champion based on 'charges' like this.

maybe i should have named this "original nasus concept" becuase thats really more of what this is.

The charges sound alot like the Soulstealer from HoN. His ultimate was to unleash all his charges, the more you had the more damage.
It is pretty sick, epic flash ults are awesome, at least with SoulStealer from HoN.
