Anyone else a little horrified only 2 of the scary AP nukes (Annie and Anivia) are on the list for lowest health...This means that Soraka has less starting health than Fiddlesticks and Karthus, there is something seriously wrong with that...
Nope, it's all balanced. Soraka should have a pretty low HP pool since she would be incredibly OP with a normal HP pool. It would be very hard to dive her when she has HP runes and she could easily win ANY lane.

the main thing that blew me away is gp having the most health. that i couldnt believe.

i wish i could find a list that ranked everyone from highest to lowest at level 1 and level 18, im curious to see how taric fits, but then again hes more of a tanky/off tank support.

I guess the HP is to compensate for his otherwise bad early game.

Karthus is actually harder to dive than Soraka because he has enough damage output to kill someone before they can actually get to him and his passive makes it so he can kill after he's dead too (the new nerf helps his OP-ness). Soraka can heal but at early levels the base damage healed is bad enough to not give you a lot of security, no matter how good its AP ratio may be. I balance this by having armor runes to give me decent early game armor, but comparatively she's really squish compared to most of the nuke-y champs...which makes NO sense imo.
It makes loads of sense. As I said; she would be OP if she wasn't much squishier than other champions.

anyway, i saw these lists and decided to share them, on champions base health.
highest at level 1:

now note that this does not include health given from stats, ie singed, cho, or sions e. (also interesting to note that singed's base mana isnt high enough to put him on the list even if it counted him.)
anyway it should be obvious to see some patterns, melee carries and tanks have the highest, and support and mages have the lowest (with the exception of taric.) and that champions seem to stay at the same place (ie champions with the most health at level 1 end with the most health.)
