Mediocre tank, mediocre damage, AP quints.

Actually, Morde is terrible as AP.

I have a mind to downvote specifically because of the AP Quints, because they are THAT bad.

Same with the Warmog's and the Rylai's.

To much tanky. Morde is a AP monster. not a tank.

Guide: This guide and build is all about how to play my favorite Champion as a tank; Mordekaiser.
- Due to the lack of crowd controll and support abilities, he's nothing more than a very sturdy power house whose only tanking ability is to initiate and overwhelm.

Guide: Mordekaiser has a great capacity to tank and be nigh unkillable if played correctly and paired with the correct items. Mordekaiser as a tank is extremely viable for all kinds of play be it ranked or co-op vs AI
- "unkillable" is a very vague term when paired with "played correctly", that's like saying Islam is a religion of "peace" if "approached correctly". While Morderkaiser tends to be a pubstomper, he's next to pathetic when used against a well coordinated team.

Guide: Cleanse is best used saved for team fights so that when they burn all their CC on you, you can just pop it off with one skill and get back to pwning face.
- Now I'm not going to flame this because I don't use it myself, It's viable but it did loose it's charm when the actual cleansing part was removed.

Guide: Increased ability power and attack speed is also fantastic. This gives Mordekaiser a little bit of pushing power and increases the damage that all his abilities will be doing so that increases your damage output and also increases the rate at which your shield charges.
- Don't flatter yourself, a mere 3 points into Archmages Savvy would have done a better job giving you more AP, not to mention Archaic knowledge. Then again you can't really go wrong here.

While the site encourages voting, I'm not really sure why I can't make myself comply.

I agree with reapermech with the damage output being like something you would see on janna, but mord does make a great tank... not personally how i build mord but i still cant see it being bad imma go +1 (actually i might put negative just cuz this build looks fake cuz you have 6 in creeping death)

nice basic build but unfortunately this set of items will NOT make you hit like a truck more like a stuffed animal you might want to try a abyssal scepter with a trinity force so you can give a beating while taking one this of course is just my opinion
