I find trinity force as optional. He doesn't need the slowing effect due to Grog-Soaked blade. The speed and AP aren't what I'm going for in this build so they are optional. I feel the better choice is Black Cleaver or Last Whisper. It gives a strong AD boost, the AS isn't bad, and the passive helps chew through tanks.

As for defense items I do take items such as Banshee's Veil, Thornmail, etc mid game depending on who I'm playing against. That is now covered in the situational items section instead of being hidden in a paragraph of text.

When I built the guide I was looking at the item database on leagueoflegends.com/items... Who knew their own db was out of date showing the cost difference as only 18g instead of ~600g. So I changed that.

As for coloring, bolding the titles, pictures, etc. They will be added in the next week or so.

While I agree, mostly... trinity force is not vital to gangplank.

1. No trinity force.
2. no defense whatsoever.
3. you take ghost over flash, gangplank is fast enough.
4. LW will deal more damage than youmuu's ghostblade, for less money.
5. Black Cleaver is not a good choice on Gangplank.
6. Your build has no color, no eyegrabs, nothing to really differentiating the important information from the less important stuff.
