10 points in Offense is not the best, that 1 point could be better used elsewhere, even in the 1g/10 mastery.

Build order is not great, there's no reason to get Archangel's that early, especially not before Boots 2. Lich Bane is a bad item on Ryze, he shouldn't have enough AP to make full use of it. Catalyst is fairly early in the build, but RoA comes pretty late, which is bad. 2 Lich banes, they don't stack.

Skill order is mostly ok except for the fact that you take no points in spell flux until late, even just 1 point early lets you use it to decrease enemy MR.

It depends if you playing mid or not but yeah I guess if you want it doesn't hurt. Personally I just like maxing overload as quick as possible. You could replace it for one of the prison upgrades if you focus on farming

Do you think adding a spell flux at 3-5 would help with farming? I know it doesn't do a lot, but your item set can be pricey.
I don't have great knowledge of Ryze, but I had a pretty decent game with this build. So +1.

And response to your playing tactics comment, I don't want to really tell people how to play a character just how to start off. And with this build it is just a basic layout on how to start. Sorry if you're asking for more but this is what I have for now. If you have any specific questions I can answer them.

I can't try this build because I'm missing some answers. Why do you have improved rally yet you don't use it as a summoner spell? I'm not trying to be rude to a friend here, but you don't give very much detail on how you do anything, and I know this is a guide and not "The Way" to play Ryze. You're basically telling the basics of LoL with a items & masteries list for Ryze.

This build is great. I used it and the first time I played I went 25-2. Great Job. Recommended
