I think AP might still be doable. It would center around Lich bane procs to do a bulk of the damage. Still potentially viable especially with her ulti being at 80% AP ratio so it's not too fargone in my mind. Might do something like

Tankish runes with MPen Marks armor seals Mr glyphs and either flat AP or AP per level quints.
Start with Either Regrowth Pendant and HP pot or Doran's Ring. Skills would go Eclipse-Shield Stun-Eclips-Shield Stun-Zenith Blade-Ulti
Then max Eclipse>Shield Stun>Zenith Blade getting ulti at available levels.
Items after Doran's or Philo could be RoA-Boots/Sheen-Lich Bane-Death Cap- Void Staff/Abyssal Scepter. relatively tanky but still viable nuke.
Spell Rotation (optimal situation) Put Eclipse Up->Zenith Blade to Target-Auto Swing-Sheild Stun-Ulti and in between the auto attack and ulti the eclipse would go off.
Capping out around 400-500AP with 2500HP+ maybe?
I'm not that great of a theory crafter so forgive me if it actually is a little too farfetched.
