Hey, I've noticed that many of the good build writers such as Alahric or HeAt don't have single-spaced, but rather something that looks more like 1.5-spaced text format.

Could someone please tell me how to do this with bbcode? Thank you!

DEWO hm?~ Nice to meet you.

Well, let's take a look between your WW guide
http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/warwick-jungle-king-549

and Apotheosis' Trynd guide
http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/your-tryndamere-resource-4964

If you look closely enough, your text is spaced out a bit more while his is more close together.
I'd like my guide spacing to be more like yours; how would I go about doing that?

It's not different at all, really. It's just the spacing in between paragraphs make it LOOK like it's more spaced out (perception differences). Eyes don't like reading scrunched up words but if you spread things out, you'll notice it's easier on the eyes and words are more discernable. Example:

There once was a time that my dog was sick. We took him the the veterinarian and they gave him multiple shots after a few diagnoses and we watched as he slowly healed back to his former self. After watching that, I was inspired that everything is possible after watching such a feat of greatness. I love my dog and I will love him forever.

Compared to:

Easier on the eyes if you ask me.

D: No, really, there's a spacing difference!

I can prove it; go to my examples again and highlight two rows of text.

For the Warwick one, there's a gap between the highlight, but it's not wide enough of a gap to be a space between paragraphs. For the Tryndamere guide, there's no space at all.

In fact, the top half of the Warwick guide is more spaced out than the bottom half! Go see for yourself ._.; I want to know how to space out the text like the top of the Warwick guide.

In that case: May I draw your attention to the dates posted?

WW:
2010-03-12

Trynd:
2010-06-29

That's a 3 and a half month difference. Many changes have been implemented since so maybe they compacted the text.

EDIT:
I think the difference may also be that he copy/pasted from Word or any other document text file (one that can hold text) because my build is like that, too.

Yeah the date doesn't matter because I saw some guides created recently that have the same spacing; may I ask what document text file you used? Thank you.

Just used Microsoft Word. 2007 Edition, I believe. Didn't import any text files but just copy/pasted. If it matters at all: just used an old .doc file (not that .docx ****).

Hmm, actually the difference is somehow some guides end up with the build text enclosed in a paragraph tag and others don't. The ones in the paragraph tag have the line spacing, the ones without it don't have extra spacing.

We'll take a look into why this is happening, all builds should have that same spacing I believe (have to check with FlashJ).

Thanks Matt, I personally think the bit of spacing is easier on the eyes.

Maybe make that the default or give the writers a choice of which to use?

Thanks for answering my thread :)
