What? Whoever said you have to BUY Mac? ;DDD
I just run it for Garageband, 'cuz I'm lazy, and you can be friggin BRAINLESS to use it when you don't want to deal with ProTools or Reason or something (this is all for music recording/editing). And it's fun to program with. :]

For your purposes and the purposes of a general consumer, this is fine, but... ummm... from my perspective, I can customize mac all I want through terminal, and if your pc can reach 150, I can go 250. Mac blocks off its customization from normal users, but not if you are able to do it through terminal. It is based off of Unix, so if you can customize a Linux, you can customize a Mac. Windows has its own coding, and I don't read that. xP There's nothing wrong with what your saying with the information you have. But you don't have all of the information.
tl;dr
If you have enough knowledge, Mac is just as (if not more) customizable than Windows to those with coding experience.
