I joined for some guides, then made a few guides, then found the forums.

Then I quit posting about a month ago.

Now I'm back.

I joined because everyone seemed cool and the guide layout was really nice.

History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.

I came and checked out the guides, but mostly lurked the forums, and I'd track down people I thought had interesting views, and just learned the game by reading most of what's here. I signed up because I felt the need to participate too :)
