Man, troll votes are so sweet.
This build is EXACTLY how swain should be played. off tank swain, and this build are both great. On those who think you need WoTA to swain, realise that it is only affective on your ult. Even so, its unneeded.
I'm glad you like the guide Revenege! An upvote would be appreciated of course. I have to disagree with your WotA comment though. While it is not essential to Swain it can be very good on him. Also, the spell vamp affects not just his ult, but all of his abilities. You may have been thinking about

Surviver, if you look at the items section of my guide you can clearly see that I include Will of the Ancients as a perfectly viable item for Swain as well as noting that I usually end up building it in most games I play. I would appreciate it if you would re-read the guide and make an informed decision on how to vote on it.
