Tristana is an "easy" champion, in that she is a very "safe" character.
Honestly, i feel that watching streams of higher level players who TALK, is one of the fastest ways to learn.
I am lucky in that my favorite character is played often by some of the higher level players.
If you want to learn about ranged AD champions, watch Chaox, Chauster, Candy Panda.
MOST of the streamers are solo top or mid players unfortunately, and generally those aren't ranged AD characters.

I have a list of videos by Chaox (his marathon videos) in which he goes over every characters (cept new ones like talon)
Here's the link: http://www.solomid.net/videos.php?b=Chaox
Hope this helps
As previously said, Ashe is a great ranged (AD Carry) champ to learn. She was my very first champ, that I main'd for a bit. Learned a LOT about general LoL strategy while learning her. I would HIGHLY suggest trying her out, if you haven't already.
For help with specific Champions (Item build/Strategy/Skill Order), check out MOBAfire's Build & Guide section:
http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/browse?sort_type=score_weighted&threshold=guides
Just create a search for whatever champion you're trying to improve with.
You'll also find a lot of very helpful general guides, not made specifically for a given champion. These are always good to read, as well.
BTW, if you DO decide to play Ashe, and need some basic advise/are having troubles, just let me know. I'd be glad to help you as much as I can. Her and Corki are the only two ranged I've spent a decent amount of time to learn, thus far. So that's about as far as my ranged-champ knowledge goes.

As they said, Tristana and Ashe are great ranged AD champs. You can get Tristana + skin for free (idk if this still works, but you can try) by adding LoL's facebook. And Ashe is a cheap champion, 450 IP.
The fact of being "cheap" or "easy to play" doesnt mean that the champion is bad.
1350 IP champions are cheap, but they are the strongests in game.

Oh, I enjoy range champs, if anyone could suggest any easy range champs that'd be cool too.
Thanks! :D
