Glad I could help.
Btw for the dodge masteries that was my mistake forgot that MobaFire's chart doesn't calculate with the masteries.
I have a few problems with your guide
First: You say you want a more tanky build and that's why you don't want Trinity Force. But then why do you have Greater Quint of Potency? Your AP ratios on Leonas skills are horrible and you get almost no extra damage from the quint's early. Why don't you have tanky runes?
Second: Your Skill Sequence is screwed up. 6 points in Zenith Blade and 2 in Solar Flare. Fix it.
Third: You spec
Fourth: Leona isn't a bad laning partner, she is a great laning partner. In my early game I come out with at least 4-5 assists. If you spec Q and E on the first 2 levels and your mate in the lane can set of you passive on both you skills then your combined damage output will be insane!
Fifth: You have no explanation for why having oracles in your build. Don't use items in you build that isn't needed. If you do then explain why and when to use it. Instead of wasting money on oracles maybe they should switch spirit visage for a better late game item. You always need to assume that the people reading you guide, knows nothing.
Sixth: In you game play section you say this: Quote "An important aspect of Leonas gameplay is getting accurate with
Seventh: You shouldn't recommend people to swap Warmog's for other Armor or MR items. Because the items you have recommended from the beginning will give you enough Armor and MR. After 60% of damage reduction, the extra resist you gain for more Armor and MR is to small. Especially when you have a shield that gives you 70 extra Armor/MR. Don't replace Warmog's with other items it will lower your survivability to much.
Because of these mistakes I will vote - on your guide. Fix it and give some more info on game play in the early to late game fazes then I might turn that - to a +. Learn from this and upgrade your guide a little. Maybe a gameplay video or something, then it will be great.
This is just a personal opinion and has nothing to do with down voting you guide. I think spirit visage and philosopher's stone is unnecessary. You got your early magic resist in the boots and you have better early game reg with rushing Force of Nature and you need the extra movement speed early to. Philopher's stone is not needed, because if you just save you mana a little you won't need it because you ain't a mana hungry champ. And if you build Glacial Shroud before Kindlegem you will solve you mana problems early game.
1. Whoops, I actually meant those to be health ones, I made an edit of it previously and thought I saved it, apparently not, thanks for pointing that out.
2. Misclicked level 6, my bad, again thanks for pointing it out.
3. I just checked in game, the 2% dodge chance is there, when I do not have any dodge runes. It increases your dodge chance from 0 by 2%. So it does work.
4. I shouldn't have put laning partner, I meant to say that she is weak getting farm in the laning phase.
5. Oracles is just a buy at the end when the full build is complete, along with all the pots. It's when all your items have been purchased, you have all the pots and still have gold. What else are you going to do with the gold?
6. I will work on this section more when I have time, but I did add in specifics that you suggested. I also don't have a recording program so I can't make any demonstration videos as of yet.
7. The reason I say you can replace Warmog's with Sunfire/Randuin's is because both items still provides you with health (albeit not as much) in addition to their utility. I don't have Warmog's being replaced by anything that doesn't also provide some form of health. I also list Frozen Heart on both those items too, but that would really detracted from the CDR perspective of the build.
On your personal notes, the philosopher's stone is as much for the Gp5 as it is for any sort of regen. I still find it relatively difficult to farm with Leona, so i think that at least 1 Gp5 is necessary, and philo does give some mana regen so you CAN spam more if you so choose. Spirit Visage is less for the MR and more about cheap Health, CDR, and a good synergy with Warmogs and FoN late game. Lately I have been thinking about replacing it, but again, the whole point of this build is tank CDR.
Thanks you for your criticisms though, definitely will help my guide. Thanked you in the Change log for your input, and you can read some of the changes see if they are to your liking.

I'd probly build the glacial shroud aspect of Frozen heart before Warmogg's, then finish it after.
That's what listed, isn't it? o.O
i dont kno about the spirit visage. i play leona a lot and i tried it today. it really didnt give me any benefits so thats kind of iffy. sry. the rylai's i feel isn't that great either. mebbe a frozen mallet instead if ur interested in slow? cuz after zenith blad ur gonna attack and proc the frozen mallet. also u should try the trin force at least once and see how it is. i feel it's actually really good.
I feel that the Spirit Visage is a really good cost effective item for early game, giving you some health, MR, and CDR that is so important to this build. It also increases the regen provided by the Philosopher's Stone, giving her a better lane sustain. Late game it also enhances Warmogs and Force of Nature, so you don't have to base after every team fight.
Yeah I know Rylai's is sort of an odd choice, but it gives her ult a good amount of pop to it, AoE slow for the shield so it effects everyone in a team fight, and provides more health. Frozen Mallet is a viable option, but I feel like the attack damage is lost on her.
As for Trinity, I do like the item, but I feel like for a pure tank, it's not the best because while it does give some utility and damage, it lacks the real hard tank stats you need. For a pure tank, I'd rather be picking up Frozen Heart and Spirit Visage and get some tankiness. But that's just for me
good, everything explained, but I think that Rylai is more usefull on another chapions (stun, dash, stun/slow, only with Sunfire Cape its Rylai beneficious)
good guide
Yeah, it's sort of a personal preference thing I have, I typically like Rylai's on most tanks just because it gives another form of CC, plus the health stats and AP aren't really wasted on her. Thanks for the comment though! Out of curiosity what would you suggest building instead?
good guide
If you don't have the patience to go into deep detail, why are you writing a guide?
To give out a concept that I use while I play. I think I had a good amount of detail on most sections, it's just that there is so much that can go into the laning phase it's hard to cover it all.
