If you prefer Frozen heart then go ahead :) In my opinion Thornmail is a very good item. It'll eliminate those hardcore AD nukers which tends to focus Swain when you move into melee range. But as i said in my guide Frozen heart is a good item too :)

I agree with holbak, and btw Baxxie, its just a build. It is meant to help other people and if you thing Frozen Heart is better, use it. Personally i like the idea in gettin´ Thornmail for this (almost) melee caster. You´ll get screwed up if you cant do anything against 1.3 k critbastard (GP).
I like the way its written, but who should i focus on the lanes? Who is easy prey and who will kill me in early to midgame?

Well yet if the swain just focus the blue at all time as the guide said it will not be needed.

I belive that thronmails works when you're healing as he is.
I've played alot with this one And it works with the healing he get's in with the spirit visage
