In 1000 and under elo people see Tyrn as a god for example.
The higher you go up the lower his value his becomes.
People saw Morde as a Low elo pub stomper as soon as you got higher elo his *** falls off.
I'm glad this article came out it shows why the game is focused the way it is and I think it should stay that way.

Not because he stomps low elo, because he stomps in small skirmishes. (they probably nerfed him for dominion)
I hope he gets a buff to his durability on ultimate and a small nerf to his damage instead.

He was generally underpowered in general though, and they made no effort to buff him elsewhere.
He really wasn't used in meaningful high elo games ever - out of the 45 champions at Dreamhack (this was pre-nerf) he wasn't one of the champions that was used, once.
