@Pacho7
Buy all the CHEAP champions (450IP and 1350IP). That way you'll get a ton of great champions and waste less if you don't like them.
Here's a list of champions in that price range that are currently very strong in competitive play:
Ashe (AD carry) 450IP
Annie (Mage) 450IP
Ryze (Mage) 450IP
Soraka (Support) 450IP
Alistar (Support) 1350IP
Amumu (Jungler and Tank) 1350IP
Cho'Gath (Tanky Mage (build him mostly tanky tho ofc)) 1350IP
Fiddlesticks (Jungler and AP carry) 1350IP
Garen (Tanky DPS) 1350IP
Janna (Support) 1350IP
Morgana (Mage) 1350IP
Singed (Tanky Mage) 1350IP
Taric (Support) 1350IP
Tristana (AD carry) 1350IP
Zilean (Mage) 1350IP
I'm a strong independent black mage who don't need no mana.
Or you can get Alistar and Tristana for free instead of using IP for them. Just subscribe on the LoL YouTube page and like LoL on Facebook.

Don't you only get the Tristana skin for liking them on facebook?
If you don't have the champion yet you will get the skin and the champion, since the system Riot uses doesn't save skins for champs you don't have (see shop: any champ you don't own has a "champion not owned" marker).
I'm back!

Why does everyone think this?
Phreak was in the top 25 for forever, and then he stopped playing consistently when he started working more on being a shoutcaster.
Phreak is a really good player when it comes to mechanics, easily on the level of most of any of the 2000+ players, he lacks other skills, and the time to play in order to climb elo however.
He also suffers from extreme tunnel vision.
Anything he does in his videos, is entirely realistic, because they just play games until they get footage.
The level of skill of the other players however isn't always amazing.
I think one of the videos was shot using only 2000+ elo riot players. (Skarner Spotlight iirc.)
Agreed.
I think he said at one point he does like, 3 games max with the champion.
The other members are always out to get him and deny him of footage though so, you are seeing him at his best.
There are a couple champs that I bought because I watched Phreaks videos back in my very early days of the game and I was completely naive. And a newb. (Still a newb though). I watched the vidoes thinking about how awesome the champs would be and amazed at their damage output. That was before I started looking at the other clues. Before I noticed he was usually 3 or more levels higher than most everyone else. That was before I realized he always has a huge advantage on creep scores. That was also before I realized you can't buy a champ based on a single video. I learned a lot in those days. It was also around then I realized that building Vlad as a tank (and pure HP) was not optimal... like I had seen in his video.
So yea... as a younger player I did buy a few champs based solely on Phreak's spotlight videos and completely regretted it shortly afterward. But I learned from my experiences. Still wish I could sell them back though...
