Yup. Like I said when I play him I usually end up getting tankier items (atmas+warmogs) so I get damage and critcal strike.

I've seen Gangplanks with builds similar to this, and they end up absolutely destroying the enemy team and carrying us to victory. It'd be better with a few tanky items (Frozen Mallet or something of the sort), but this is a definite pub-stomping build.
