Initial thoughts on MW3: Is this a MW2 Map Pack? Looks EXACTLY the same, what the fawk? D:

That being said, I will play MW3. Probably quite a bit of it. No, I won't buy it myself, but I'm sure whenever one of my friend's ends up buying it, I'll get in on quite a bit of online split-screen with them.

I could give a **** less about what CoD/BF3 fanboys have to say. It's a game. I have fun playing it. Therefore I'm going to play it.

"OMAHGAWD. It LOOKS exactly like MW2!1!"
So? Why's that necessarily a bad thing? I mean, yeah, they DEFINITELY coulda put forth some effort, and make it at least LOOK like a brand new game. But still, I had hella fun playing MW2, back in the day. Plus, MW3 looks as if CoD4 and MW2 had a baby, then said baby was injected with steroids. I enjoy that fact, because I really enjoyed both games (Black Ops was meh, IMO).

And yeah, I do like Battlefield 3. A lot. BF3 is a great game, and I suspect MW3 will be as well.

Also, a message to the Internet:

You don't enjoy MW3? You think it's MW2 with a new label? Cool. Don't play it, then. Also, while you're busy not playing MW3, do the world a favor, and stop wasting your breath with how much it "sucks" and how much better BF3 is. Nobody cares.

Caucheka the answer to your question is the only point CoD still sells. People want to play fast in huge player base games and want to get some noobs in enemy teams so they have fun. The older the game is the harder is to play since the noobies moved on to new game and only pros remain.

A wise man gets more use from his enemies than a fool from his friends.

Why won't I just play MW2, even if I'm not going to purchase MW3?

If given the choice of two PC's, the first being fully functional, nice and shiny, yet a bit outdated, and the second being similar, but upgraded, and BRAND new, which one would you choose? Assuming money is not a factor.

Obviously I'll play MW3 over MW2, because it's newer, and has more "new" features that I've yet to mess around with. Either way, like I stated before, I won't be buying it any time soon. Possibly when the price drops a bit, and assuming I really enjoy the game. But for now, I'll be perfectly happy playing it casually whenever I'm at a friend's house.

I don't see how people are calling it a MW2 Expansion, its a totally different game.

At least coming from the Xbox to the ps3.

I love it....

Because the graphics are the same, the sound effects are the same, even the GUI is the same.

Also apparantly it says 'Modern Warfare 2 has stopped working' when it crashes and there's already aimbots. xD
