Try putting quotes around the name if you have issues, like [icon="Doran's Ring"].

Also, if you copy the text out of another program that you used to edit/back up your text, such as MS Word, it may have replaced the quote with its own weird version of the quote. Try deleting and re-typing the quote and see if that fixes it.
