^^ Presumeably.
But along with the lack of predictability, there is also the fact that, while jungle times will be faster, level gains will be slower. Or that's the impression I got from reading the posts.
So lanes WILL become more agressive, while junglers will have to choose more appropriate times to gank. Do I gank now while I'm 1 level under, but the lane is pushed? Or do I continue to jungle because none of the lanes have a clear advantage right now?

I personally doubt that the jungle is now just the noob zone. I'm fairly confident that the pros will find a way to take advantage of the new jungle, and find opportunities we just can't see yet.
How do you guys think this will impact double junglers? Seems like they would be able to counter-jungle where others just can't anymore.

This is just silly. It's not competative because they wish to focus on the majority?
It's called business. When you run a business you want a lot of people using your goods or servies. When they do this, they have opinions on how they wish for you to improve your goods or services. If a majority of people said "I'd pay more for your goods or services if you did 'THIS'" you're telling me Potatis, you'd say "No not gonna happen"? That's bad business in general.
I agree there are times when the majority is wrong, but a few things you should consider:
1. These are the proposed changes of the game, they may change before release or be postponed to better balance them out.
2. It's a patch, if we've learned anything from playing LoL (or any game really) patches can be un-done. This is not permanant.
3. As Caucheka said none of us have played this yet. Stonewall is 1 person and he's done his jungling for a long time. Anyone in his same position would be biased and close minded to the thought of a new way to jungle.
It's easy to invest such a heavy opinion, and be so quick to judge when you're not in the chair making the descisions yourself. The competition is always to out preform the opposition, the game changes, now you have to be competative in a newer version of the game. If the idea falls flat on it's face, Riot will undo it. If they come up with a better way to make jungling accessible to lower level summoners while keeping the same level of gameplay for pros then they'll do it.
Anyway, I'm not really excited, or upset, just gonna sit and wait.
Good buisness, yes. Competitive? No.
But then again look at world of warcraft. They have been focosing on the more "casual" player base. Still there sub numbers is dropping like crazy.
Oh, and ask any one, i have always thought this game as a competitive one is a godamn joke. Clearly riot have never been trying to make this a competitive game. Just take a look at the game, still no replay, propper spectator or even a ****in pause...
Yeah...
wow subs are dropping because they do nothing to change the game at all. its the same thing over and over and it gets extremely boring grinding levels or questing or dungeons/raids.
and why the **** does it matter if its competitive or not. the only thing i agree with you potatis is the replays, but spectators and pause is not necessary at all. especially not with streams easily available for spectators.
you know what happened to hon? they made the game 30 dollars so they could make their game competitive and keep noobs out. how well did that work out?

I like things that make me feel stupid. - Ken Levine
Never said it was a bad thing it was not competitive, i got over 2000 games of this bloody game. Clearly i enjoyed it.
So it doesn't matter to me if it is competitive, just stating a a lot of people go mad about ;).
As for spectator and pause...
Who needs pause right? I had this incidinent i a tournament final when my internet died... Would be hella nice if i could pause then.
Or how about that random game when you just have to do something for 3 minutes... Yeah pause, who needs you? It is just the basics of gaming.
We don't need timeouts in basketball. We don't need halftime breaks in Fotball(eu). Clearly not worth it.
And spectator modes...
Spectating is the core for a competitive game. Being able to watch a game. You got streams... Yeah... How about i wanna watch games on my conditions and not some random high elo player?
Maybe i wanna watch a friends game? Maybe i wanna watch a specific players game, and that person doesn't stream?
HoN? Pfft **** that game, it betrayed me. Dota2 son, that game will blow your casual mind!

yeah annie can jungle. except for her gank at 6 shes not really that good with the rework.
Annie has been able to 3:05 clear since new masteries came out.
And she has a stun, ALL GAME.
As well as some pretty good burst, and enough tankiness from shield to withstand most harass from laners.
