Hey just coming back to say that mejai realy works on Janna! ^^ great idea and awesome job ^^

And I never said that she should be a killing champion hero. The Mejai's function is to give your Ult Heal a better healing and the shield a bigger shielding. That's pretty much it. Try reading the guide again. I never mention a single fact that you should kill something.

Yes, I'm aware, I need to improve some details in my guide. I would be glad if you could give me some pointers of what to improve in the next "patch" of it.
As for the Mejai's, it's my personal experience that, if you succeed in laning phase, you can probably have already 3~4 stacks on your Soulstealer just on assists. This way, the tower should be destroyed in about 8~10 minutes of game, provided that you have been pushing and harassing like hell.
Even you're even lucky of picking a kill in lane phase, you can probably be on 80~90 AP without any AP items (just on Mejai and Runes / Masteries).
The reason I added a Mejai's to the build is that, with Clarity, you might almost never have Mana Issues, a reason not to build the Tear of Goddess (and ultimatly an Archangel's).
But if you DO NOT have Clarity in Spells, ToG is a must on Janna.
I guess this is another point I should focus on my next guide-patch...

Your guide needs a little more details,for example you haven't added all the icons(banalce in everything)
Anyway I pretty much agree with what you said.
Janna is the strongest support,so the better your teamates the better the support.
Only one thing your mejai will be hard to collect stacks,but it is worth I think
