Shak3y's corner: The birth of a star, a LoL...

If I succeed, I will be an example to any scrub out there that has a dream. If I fail, then I will have the knowledge that I tried to give hope to millions. Because, at the end of the day, we all need hope. So where do I begin? How do you go from a 1350 elo scrub to one of the top players in the world? This is a question I couldn't answer until i thought about it more tonight. I was sitting In my uni library. Glasgow uni library, for anyone interested. I was looking at all the people studying, all the people who have dreams. Ambitions in life. Some of them will make it, be the best in their field of work. Others will get jobs in their field and just get by. Some will work in retail for the rest of their lives. The more I thought about why this was, the more it became clear. Drive. To be truly successful, you need to want to be the best. You need to want it more than anyone else. You need to work. You need to study. [penny in the air] You need to go to class and to listen to your tuto- Go to class and listen. woa! [Penny dropped] [i]"I needed a tutor. Someone to teach me. I need to study and work at being the best. I need to work and work at it. To be the best, I need the best. Lol, what am I saying. I want to actually get a pro to train me."[/i] - My thought process at around 6pm this evening It's sounds crazy, but i like a challenge. Can it be possible for me to get a pro to actually make me a top level player? If I succeed, they succeed. They prove to the world that they are the best. So good that they can turn a scrub into a star. I would need to get onto every EUw player I could. Surely someone in that top 3% of players would be as crazy as I am in even thinking about it.
