Give me some good reasons of making a guide to Ryze. He's my main, and I've played him since June.

Now, convince me :D

He's your main, you've played him since June.

As such you SHOULD have good ideas on how he is built and handles, how to counter some weaknesses that may confront the average RTP Ryze player, and have pretty good ideas on how items can be applied to him. There is no reason not to as long as you take the time and effort to make it a good guide

If you feel like your build/guide will be more interesting/unique than the other Ryze guides.

If not, then there is no need to wright your own.
Thanks to me and Elleeeeeka (love that name) for my sigs.
If i made a helpful comment on your guide/build, then hit that +rep button. or don't, its not like i care.

@omagma: there's the problem... I just feel like contributing to this site, and make people better ryze players. There is some really good guides for him out there so I don't really know if mine would be any better...

If you have interesting and slightly controversial idea's when it comes to playing Ryze, then yes you should make a guide. Although if you feel you will just end up copying the top 5 IDEAL Ryze guides, then it's probably not worth it (saying this, it could be worth it if you just wan't to improve your writing skills, be it in guides or not, and I'm sure every contribution is encouraged). I would say go for it, it might even make you think a bit more about how you actually play Ryze, improving your skill, and maybe even helping others! Hopefully you'll make it, so I can check it out.

Don't make guides because you care what people think, or because you want to be popular. Bad idea. :P

Make a guide when you are really onto something, when you have a true mastery of a champion and you've uncovered some method to use a new and exciting aspect of the champ's kit.

Mostly what Duff said. Generally I would say that unless you can bring something to bear that the top 3-5 guides on your champion don't already cover, or perhaps do not do a good job of explaining, then probably not necessary to write a guide.

Imma think about it some more. And yea, it would be really fun to explore him even deeper and, as Samoh said, maybe even improve my skillz with him during.

And Duff, I'm not doing this to be popular or something shallow as that, I want to learn people to be good ryze players. The best way of learning something is to take part of someone elses knowledge.

We'll see how this goes. I don't really feel the yay or nay on this one. :/
