I have a proper Veigar build :) in the game. I tend to play the game more often than I tell everybody how I play. It always gets horrible reviews anyway.

If you don't have as much AP without building items as your enemies or allies building AP items, you should avoid Veigar or learn to last hit with Q... seriously. I usually have 75+ AP by the time I can even by stuff for AP.

Also, the extra AP at the beginning of the game helps with the last hitting so you can get AP earlier and snowball faster. Just sayin.
