I do it, and have done in ranked and usually carry my team.
It's not a joke he can outlane quite some melee champs and even better post 6.

@Kalteran: Thanks and yeah I actually should mention the defensive uses of . About more solo top opponents, I'll add a couple more when I get the chance to lane against them (and if they're actually difficult to deal with).

People don't read anything nowadays, they look at the cheatsheet and everything in-between the comment section and the cheatsheet is a wall of black and white text and pictures.

I wonder why this guide has so little recognition...

Great guide, man!

I love your skill explanation section. I'd mention using as an escape also because it can be great when you're getting chased. The enemy will be slowed and since they are running at you they will almost always eat all of the damage.

I'd also recommend adding some other champions to the solo top section. I've seen Ahri, Kennen, and Morgana up top pretty regularly and I could see how all of them could give Swain trouble. Not to mention Kassadin, but I usually only see him in the middle lane. Rarely do I see him up top.
