So basically I hit a huge losing streak. Of the last 30 games I played I lost 22 of them. Normally I don't mind a couple of losses here and there, but this is getting ridiculous. I do well in my lane and destroy the opposition. Some how the enemy team gets fed by someone and just aims me even if I'm the offtank. I usually would give it more time, but it has been happening for about 2 weeks now and I've been getting sick of it. I was wondering any advice on how to get out of my slump?
What I'm saying is, if other people seem like they can't help you win, then help them not giving you the loss. I've had bad streak as well, and good ones, it just happens. But I noticed that being very active strategically throughout the game usually will keep a team together and wary of any bad surprises.
Morale only goes so far. I took a couple day break before but its not working. The thing is I haven't lost my mojo, I can still win my lane most of the time. It always the one person on the enemy team more fed than me that screws me up. I tried playing with friends who are good too, but we somehow always run into a team better than us. I would be ok with it if it was every couple of games, but its every single game that I lose the match while winning my lane.
The fact that you're winning your lane is a good thing. It doesn't, however, mean your morale can't be bad.
If you're winning your lane but lose the game in the end because an enemy is more fed, it's not really your fault is it? And if you're queueing with friends but the enemy team seem to be stronger for some reason like you said, maybe evaluate your teamplay? A problem I used to have when playing with my friends is that everyone stayed in their own lane the whole game and we never worked together on getting important objectives like the dragon. After we noticed that and discussed that we should be helping each other out more and plan together when we were going to do dragon it went a lot better. Teamplay is more difficult to improve than individual play, but it is at least as important.
But again, if you're winning your lane you're doing a good job.
As I am on EUW I can't promise that it is the same on NA but you can try it.
Another point to get into a winning streak is just playing 3v3 and picking the most OP champs there... Tryndamere, Jax, GP, Ezreal. Champs like this can win the game if they get 2 or 3 kills. Tryndamere for example only need a Phantom Dancer and he wins the game immediately. Ezreal needs Sheen and can pwn the enemies hard, Jax needs a Guinsoo and is nearly the same like Tryn. GP is just IE and win. That's a very easy strategy for 3v3 if you want to win some games to get your morale up :)
I played 3v3 and got my confidence up :P
Then returned to another losing streak. The best thing to do is probably just keep playing, and support your team with ganks so that you can help snowball them into a win.
The most important thing is to keep your morale high though, don't go into your next games thinking: 'I will lose this' or even 'I hope my loss streak doesn't continue', too negative.
Worst case scenario: take a break or play some games you know you will win (with low level summoners for instance). It's all about the morale.
Or i can recommend you take a few days to relax and clean your mind....sleep is always a good medicine =D
