I did join.

After only playing 3 days I've got most of the game on lock down.

But I'm still not very good lol.

It will take some getting used to, but as long as you are experienced with LoL it shouldn't be incredibly hard to learn. I tried teaching a friend who had no dota-genre experience how to play dota 2... so frustrating. But we have a small community on DOTAFire right now, but we regularly play together.
