It's only included for the first 20 votes on a new guide if the so called 'Comment to Vote' option is turned on (so people can't upvote/downvote without commenting and explaining why they upvoted/downvoted).
After the first 20 votes, you won't see the green bars anymore.
However, you could of course also use the following image if you really want the green +1 bar:

Thanks buddy :), it could be a good idea to have a code embeded with bbcode to do that, something like:
[t-up] or [t-down] that creates the corresponding div, span and it corresponding classes.
I've never used bbcode, but I guess there's some way to create your own "codes".
