I played Ali a lot between lvl 5 and 20 and won a lot of games with a build similar to this, but i have found that you need quite a bit of CDR in the higher levels if you wanna make a difference with a pure tank Ali. otherwise you will be extremely hard to kill but the other team wont bother since youre not doing any real damage and you can't spam your cc enough to save your squishies. They will not focus you and you will be last man standing, but what good does that do if your teammates are dead. Not gonna downvote though since it seems this build is working for a lot of other guys.

Could you grammar check it and make the pictures smaller? Just a suggestions all. Otherwise good guide.

This is better than any other Alistar guide I have ever read. I have been winning plenty of games using this build and using the techniques shown in this guide. Hopefully you make guides for other support champions

just wen 6/5/22 with this, but I changed it up a bit, I got a Philo stone since Alistar eats mana like there's no tomorrow, but I was taking no damage from turrets with my ulti. Great guide, +1 from me :D TANK ALI > SUPPORT/AP ALI! WOO

I tried this build a long time ago, and it was awesome. In one of the games, we just lost a teamfight, and the whole enemy team was still alive. I was the only one alive, trying to run away, and it took them 45 seconds to kill me. This helped MY team a lot since it distracted the enemies from taking baron, and allowing my teamates to respawn again. Great GUIDE! +1

This is the build a used to use way back when I was lvl 1
It worked awesome
I got many "You are so awesome ali <3"
But as I lvled up this build got less, ad less viable
Ali as tank generates no aggro and as such I was always the last man alive with full hp but
no teammates
All i brought to teamfights was one or two headbutts/pulverize
When I switched to support ali, I became much more useful to the team providing many auras, map awarness, and protection for carry. (and one or two headbutts/pulverize)
I uesd to love this build but now I realize that jungle ali or support ali are much better
I will still always love you unareyal

New to LoL, only been playing a week, but decided to try and stick to this guide, i love Alister and want to do the best i can!

I enjoy and thumb up this guide, cuz i think that alistair can do a better 'support' job being full tank, he can focus better in defend the carries, and use his ult like an cleanse and not to start tanking... well, great job man... i use to build another warmorg's in the place of banshes xP, work well for me =*, see ya

Very nice, i like the shoes to get me from base to battle again. and this is the first one with the warmog's armor, i always did it but it didnt work well with other builds... thank you for makin this one.

Seems good to me but I might put in a philosophers stone or some mana regen item
