Nowaday's everyone needs to have Internet, at least that's what Steam think's. U cant get Steam without Internet connection, some Games want's you to be have a Connection 24/7, patches are not accesable without Steam(in terms of getting stuff from a Friend's PC) etc. etc. the only good thing bout this are the price-reduction, which, destroy's at the same time Job's in Gameshop's etc., and they need to do stuff like at Gameshop/stop(or whatever it was called and u created a Thread about) to still be competive.
I dislike the fact that u "must" have Internet nowadays, and thats why i think this is just another "money-getting"method.

I'm at a loss for why they pick Nvidia GPUs though. Everyone with a little knowledge of the GPU market knows ATI is better on most points right now.
