I added Atma's to the alternative build options. Take a look at it, you might just like it ;)
Though, Talon isn't a tanky-DPS. Trying to build him that way will make you miss out on good burst, and he will still be easy to kill. I rely on good mobility and speed for survivability. But I guess that's very player dependent.
While atma's with frozen mallet is still good, I wouldn't stack defensive items on him.
like your build and all. offers lots of dmg potential. however, i do believe you lack survivability with your build. nice amount of coding and indepth information.
