So i noticed my Irelia guide is just dropping like a boss in vote. really dunno why, especially since people just dont leave comments :(. for some reason, I just really think MobaFire should allow the owner of the guide to actually know who downvoted a guide. or maybe make it a requirement to leave a comment when downvoting. could really allow ppl to report those trolls who just put like a "..." or something o.O.
anyways, im wanna start on a new guide, but I really dunno who yet. and after i do decide, i'd like to play the champion more. i'd also like to write a guide on a champ people dont really have good guides on. would be nice to see my guide near the top :D Or maybe ill just make a guide for the sake of it.

@Rosephoenix - played vlad, noc, and riven a lot before. that was in the NA server though. btw, didnt you just see me play ryze like a week ago? i carried you that game :D. i was thinking bout ziggs, but after some tests, dont like him a lot. and you should've seen me play ziggs too...i was the pro aimer and timer with my ulti :D:D:D:D:D:D.

Of course the more active members are going to receive more attention. That's just how things work.
As for the not voting for competing guides thing, again, of course that's going to happen. I won't upvote or scout any of the other Caitlyn guides - but on the other hand I don't downvote them either. I believe being in competition with them makes me ineligible to vote either way.
To refer to the above point by Apfeljack, without a doubt these with some sort of status you gain a hefty advantage over the average user. Said status is often used to contact (even if they aren't contacted they're "followed", think of it as a Facebook friend gets to see all your posts or guides) these within the "inner-circle" as to gain immediate votes/comments which allow said guide to rack up the charts or quicker attention for Scout Points (have to earn Scout Points still, votes not so much...). There is several guides out there made by these with some sort of higher class status that are plainly pish pash poor guides yet go through the loop and still become "top rated" guides. Unfortunately these guides who don't gain immediate attention simply die out eventually or take a few months to get noticed if they are truly great (take for instance the "Wall of text about supporting Sona guide", now archived).
If you feel that I'm over-exaggerating or what I say is false then I would gladly give various examples in PM to prove my point (not going to publicly name and shame guides directly as that may be an infringement of the rules).
Yup, and then there's some people like me who could care less about name color, and the 'circle' and scout and +vote on guide content/build. ^^
There are other members like this too. Referring to (Vets, Scouts, Editors) but pretty rare overall..
